Today my morning meditation centered around the idea of acceptance. The idea that we have three angles when approaching feelings. We can 1) accept them as they are, 2) change to adapt to these feelings, or 3) leave (or ignore) these feelings alone.
I write often about anxiety, as it’s a feeling I’ve worked with for several years. Below are the stream of consciousness words I wrote in my journal this morning.
Thoughts from this entry were inspired by a book I read recently titled Future Tense by Tracy Dennis-Tiwary, who is working to reframe the way we understand and work with anxiety.
